86percent Hike in Iran-Sweden Trade
Financial Tribune
Iran’s exports to Sweden during the period amounted to €11.33 million, showing a meager increase of 2% year-on-year. Imports from the European country into Iran reached over €397.7 million, indicating a 91% increase year-on-year. The Swedish-Iranian Chamber of Trade and Commerce organized the First Nordic Iranian Business Summit in Stockholm in November 2017. Hosting companies and delegations from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and other European countries as well as Iran, the event aims to introduce investment opportunities in Iran’s infrastructure, ICT, mining & steel, health & pharmaceuticals, banking & finance, environment and energy. The joint chamber is a Swedish NGO that promotes trade between Scandinavian countries and emerging markets in Asia.
